OPTICUM_HD9600_SpecialFunctions

OPTICUM 9600, X550 SPECIAL FUNCTIONS (for full S/W)
I. Enabling receiver’s special functions
1) Push MENU buton on remote control unit or frontpanel
2) Push button 8 six (6) Times using remote
*There is only Serial Setup option for X550
3) Menu buton icon is becoming unactive
4) Enter to „Multimedia” submenu , and see new additional function
II. Connecting to Card Server using Ethernet interface (for HD 9600 and HD TS 9600)
1) Check if special functions are enabled (See: I)
2) Go into Server Setup submenu, (MENU. Multimedia Server Setup),press OK.
on empty Server place
3) Put Server information into Server properties window
A. Server Type (NewCAMD, Homeshare(for 9600,X550 Sharing),
CCCAMD)
B. Server Adress (External IP Adress for Internet sparing, internal for sharing
in local earea Network)
C. Server Port
D. User ID
E. User Password
F. DES Key (for NewCAMD Sharing only)
4) Press red button to confirm changes
5) Connection is active, if connection icon and Start status infront of chosen server at
server list
III. How to configure card Server for Ethernet sparing (for HD 9600 and HD TS 9600)
(Works only for Conax and SECA cards – tested on 3.04 S/W)
1) Check if Special Functions are enabled (See: I)
2) Go into HomeServer submenu
3) Set Your HomeServer properties:
A. IP Adress (autoamtical)
B. Router IP (Local IP Adress of Internet Router)
C. Running State (show wheter the server is running, or not)
D. Port setup
E. Service Type (NewCAMD(Universal) or HomeShare(For 9600 and X550
series only)
F. Autostart (If auto, server starts always when receiver is turned on)
G. DES KEY (For NewCAMD server)
· Push Yellow button to put the server to running mode (for status see: point
III.3.C)
· Blue button: if server running, You can see connected users list
· Green button: opens User Manager screen, where You can set passwords for
users, You want to share Your CARD with, You Can also check who is
connected to Your server
H. ID (user namee)
I. Password
J. MAC FILTER (if user connected)
K. MAC (is displayed if user connected)
4) Push Red button to save Your settings and go back to previous menu
CAUTION!!! Set Autostart to auto and dont forget to Press Yellow button before
exiting this window
IV. Serial Sharing setup (for server) (THIS OPTION IS FOR LOCAL SHARING BETWEEN
HD X550 and HD,HD TS 9600 receivers)
1) Check if Special functions are enabled (see:I)
2) Go into Serial Setup submenu
3) Set Serial Mode option to : Server
V. Serial Sharing setup (for server)
1) Check if Special functions are enabled (see:I)
2) Go into Serial Setup submenu
3) Set Serial Mode option to : Client
4) Set Client number (up to 8 clients)
VI. Checking Connection to Server Status (for Ethernet Sharing)(for HD9600, HD TS 9600)
1) Check if Special functions are enabled (see:I)
2) Press Mode Key on Remote
3) If any of server from list is not responding, press Red button to reconnect all servers
VII. TIPS
1) Press HELP Key on Remote to Access Key Edit Mode
2) Press and Hold Power button on remote for 5sec to reboot Receiver if there is no
reaction from it.
